Undergraduate courses:
CIV220: Urban Engineering Ecology (2022)
CIV201: Introduction to Civil Engineering (2022)
CIV220: Urban Engineering Ecology (2022)
- I taught a core civil and environmental engineering undergraduate course (> 150 students) in person in Fall 2022
- Course covers basic ecology concepts with a particular focus on urban environments, and engineers' roles in minimizing environmental impacts and enhancing sustainability.
CIV201: Introduction to Civil Engineering (2022)
- I taught field tours as a key component of the core course for civil and environmental engineering undergraduate students (> 90 students).
Teaching assistantships
I have been a teaching assistant in both undergraduate and graduate courses (10 appointments):

Mentoring
I have mentored one undergraduate students in Forestry on the Bachelor's thesis on biochar and plant growth, resulting in one publication in a peer-reviewed journal. I also supervised three summer undergraduate students in Civil Engineering on hydrological and thermal performance of green roofs, at the University of Toronto.
